Born and raised in the grisly state of New Jersey, David Edward Dick always had a copious admiration for art. He pursued his passion by attending The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where he gained valuable knowledge while studying under some of the most prestigious Illustrators in the country. He went on to graduate, receiving a Bachelors Degree of Fine Arts in Illustration. Dave has spent his time since graduating freelancing, and showing his work in galleries across the country. Most, if not all, of his illustrations are created with acrylic and oil paint as well as some mixed media. When the paint dries the pieces are scanned and finished on the computer. When he isn’t creating, Dave enjoys playing with his Jack Russell, Stella, as well as watching a good film . His favorite genre is horror, which comes out a lot in his artwork.
